I often need to find the local network IP address of my computers. I
am hoping to find a faster method. Right now I click the start menu,
select run, enter CMD, and then display it by entering ipconfig.

I've tried a lot of utilities but most of them are junk and usually
they don't say if they run on Vista.

Alternatively, just having a shortcut I could double-click to run the
ipconfig command and keep the window from closing would be OK.

With the pros here on this group I'm hoping someone can just point me
to something that is reliable and simple.

You can try this it works on XP,2000. Not sure about Vista.

Thanks -- this one might work even though it says only 2000, but the
one the Boris posted works, so I am going to stick with that.
