Good question. At times when I've looked at the outlet, I've seen a
lot of laptops and an hour later, perhaps none. Then an couple of
hours later, a lot again so I think they have some master plan or
doing some kind of inventory control ??
Right now, 14:30 EST, they show 5 1400s with XP Home and 5 1500s w/XP Home
(plus one each with XP Pro). I think it's a crap shoot.
I really think it's all about availability and inventory of whatever returns
they might have. I'm not sure that they manipulate the OS choices (at least
not right now since XP is still available until June).
I reserve the right to be completely wrong, of course.
No I won't grant you that right so if you are wrong, I can sue you for
all your dell laptops shortly <g> !!
