Any changed the hard drive and RAM on a Dell Vostro 1400

I'm thinking of buying a Dell Vostro 1400 refurb and upgrading the RAM
to 4 gigs and the hard drive to a 200 gig 7200 RPM. I've seen one Dell
notebook where you have to practically tear it apart to get at the
hard drive. I can't find the documentation on the Dell site where it
tells how to take out the hard drive. Anyone have experience with
this?

Also, how much faster is a duo core 2000 over an 1800? If I was using
it for digital video editing, would it make a huge difference?
