Very interesting. I just got a new Vista box and am finding out (the
hard way?) that Windows Mail already has three features missing that
OE had. Now I hear that Office 2007 breaks spell checker in Windows
Mail.

Hmmm...guess I'll just have to install Office 2002 on the Vista box.

One of my biggest gripes is that although I am the Administrator (the
only user, besides a Guest account which is turned off), I'm not
really the big cheese administrator. Heck, it shows in the Users
Account panel that I am the Administrator.

For instance, when I tried to edit my hosts file, Vista wouldn't allow
this. No, no. Rather than go to the trouble of making myself THE
Administrator with write permission, I had to right click on the
Notepad shortcut, select "Run as administrator", navigate to the hosts
file, and then edit and save.

I also miss the display name feature, the Outlook Bar, and I don't
care for the way the To: field drop down includes everyone you've ever
entered an email addy for, rather than just those in your contact list
(address book). Windows Mail reminds me of Outlook....but I'd never
go for Windows Live Mail.
