Okay. So maybe something a bit larger in order to both charge the battery
and use the notebook at the same time..

Okay. So a Radio Shack 75W Power Inverter should work?
Maybe. I just bought a 90watt inverter from Target but haven't yet
used it. I want to be able to charge up my laptop and cell phone
while on the road (driving to Dell country <grin>).
Honestly Greg I'm not sure but I don't think the two combined take
that much juice. Obviously more is better. You might want to see
what the capacity of the two use and then compare to the inverter (I'm
not an electrical engineer so beware). And you might want to see if
the target one costs more or less than radio shack. No brainer if
target's is less expensive and larger capacity.
I hope someone can give you better advice than myself here.
