Re: Connecting an old Parallel Port laser printer to a new Dimension E520

http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=USB-PAR&cat=CBL works fine with my
HP Laserjey 6L. Cable length is only 6 ft, so I plug the USB part into my
keyboard since it can't reach my computer. There are other USB to parallel
cables out there. Try a Google search.

the best way to do it?

Forgot to mention and I'm not sure about the 4P but the lj4 can get a
wireless usb print server adapter but I think this will be less
desireable because it will take longer to print stuff (I have a
wireless print server on an inkjet and it takes a while to print over
my home wireless network).
