M2010 -- was Re: What Dell...

If that's the case, please feel free to shut the hell up and stop
stealing
bandwidth.

I just want to know how much that M2010 is and if it is even remotely
easy
to move around.

Stew

Bandwidth is cheap, as least in my trailer park :)

The M2010 is very cool. I wouldn't want to take it on a hike on the blue
ridge parkway, but for moving it around the house and probably even
taking it back and forth to work, it isn't too bad. The key would be to
have a power brick in both places because the 150W (yes, 150W) power
supply is huge (literally brick size).

The unit is very well designed for carrying, where the hinges are really
a carrying handle (check out the pics on Dell's site). Balances very
well. Comes with both a remote and a cordless (Bluetooth) mouse, but
since the keyboard has a trackpad, you wouldn't have to move either one.

I doubt I'd carry it on the road if I was still a road warrior (although
if I was pullin' the mobile home, I s'pose I could).

It's a very unique machine. If I was a gamer that liked to get together
with other gamers, this would be the perfect machine. Certain to win any
'my laptop is bigger than your laptop prizes) and with an X1800,
reasonably powerful.

I'm really enjoying it. We all sit on the porch in the evening watching
TV on it. Pretty silly use for it, but it works well.
