FYI -- Dell Axim Discontinued

The Axim Site (www.aximsite.com) has been saying that the Axim will be
discontinued. I looked at Dell's site today and they no longer sell
Axims via the web. Earlier in the day there was a page that said call
for the price, but even that's gone.
It's too bad. The Axim, IMO, was the best Pocket PC. I think that
they could have kept the same design for a long time to come, because
it worked. HP used to have Pocket PCs with good form, but for some
reason they lost it.
Companies are developing Windows Mobile phones. Personally, I don't
like them very much as PDA's because of the small screen. I have a
Treo 680 and a Palm TX, and that works great. I keep contact info on
the Treo, and use the TX for anything else. If I ever want to update
the contact info on the TX, I just export from the Treo and import on
the TX.
Palm seems ready to launch Cobalt. There is a new Treo spotted with
it. Also Jeff Hawkings who invented the Palm, and led Handspring to
success, is supposed to be releasing some kind of great product soon.
I bought some shares of Palm. It's around $18 now. My guess is that
it will reach $25 within the next 6 months.
