reason to upgrade. Vista's selling point was supposed to be virus
proofing the PC at last (something OsX did for the Mac), but then
several antivirus vendors said that a large percentage of viruses will
still run on vista. And then OneCare gets the only failing grade of
17antivirus programs tested.... (missed 20% of viruses it was tested
against! egad!)

Well, Vista does try to take some steps towards limiting/prventing viruses
from running...although that's not the same as having a good AV program
running.

Still, Vista is based on XP/Win2k, so it's going to have the same
vulnerabilities.
