Lesson learned - never spend more than $1000 on any PC, no matter how
many "free" things they give away with it.

I'm on a 3.4Ghz machine w/1Gb RAM/ATIx600 and it cost me probably more
than you can get it for in the US (i'm in the UK) but it was about $660
delivered (no monitor, just the base unit)
