I have a Dell Demension 8200. 2ghs processor, 512 512MB KIT RAMBUS PC800
(2PCS 256MB PC800 RDRAM.) I can buy another 512 for $196.00.
Or I can buy new Computer with a a faster processor with more Ram for
anywhere from $500.00 Up.
Does RAMBUS Ram make that much difference? I don't game so I really
haven't found anything this computer won't do. But, I was wondering if
these so called starter boxes faster than the Computer I payed &2000 for 3
years ago?
Can anyone give me the low down on Ram and if it makes that big of a
experienced?

Rambus was a failure. In its time, it was fast. Now it is not.
Sell your 8200 (part it out if necessary) and replace it.
