Hi,
We have this system that keeps waking up on its own.
We have checked that the BIOS has the auto turn on
feature off. Also, the S3 setting in the BIOS (version A10)
has no option to wake up from keyboard or mouse.
Also, we don't have any apps that schedule a events.
Any suggestions appreciated.

Does it have a NIC (Network Interface Card) with the Wake on Lan
capability? If the Nic is seperate from the motherboard, there is often
a little cable connected to the motherboard, from the nic. It's the
Wake on Lan cable (WOL, for short). No harm will come from
disconnecting it. Except that the nic won't be able to wake up the
computer anymore, which is the point.
If the nic is integrated into the motherboard, nevermind.
The newer the computer, the more "Wake On xxx" options tend to be
crammed into the bios, another thorough search couldn't hurt. If it
says "Wake on", make sure it's disabled.
Electrical shorts within the motherboard or PSU are also a possibility,
but that's a baaad thought. Still, check the inside of the computer for
any free-floating metal objects. (if you pick it up, and can hear
rattling, you got a loose screw in there somewhere).
No separate NIC. Just using the one on board. I did check the
inside since I have a strange behavior with the graphics card
and dual displays (I see a flicker at some random times like some sort
of screen update). Nothing loose inside as far as I can tell.
Overall, this system is not as stable as I had hoped so far.
