Hi,
After recomendations from this group a while back I have just bought a new
7200rpm drive for my I8600. I imaged the old drive onto the new one for a
benchmark of performance and it cut the boot time in half. I decided it
was time for a clean install of windows to truly appreciate the speed of
this drive and found that wth a fresh copy of windows it booted in 25sec
which was amazing. That was until I installed all the dell drivers,
quickset etc. and this blew startup times out to just over a minute. Does
anyone know what Dell software I can avoid reinstalling?
Thanks
Robert
