True Image creates it by 'stealing' from the primary partition. It seems to
work fine. I just did it on my Mom's new E510. I used V9.0 though.
You might have to do an XP repair or at least an FDISK /mbr

Today I tried using Acronis True Image 8.0 on my dell inspiron e1705.
I wanted to backup my hard drive, so what I did was I created a Acronis
SecureZone, which made a seperate partition just for backups. I
created my backup and proceeded to reboot the hard drive. When I did
this, the OS didn't want to boot. All I got was the message "pbr 3...
done 8.0" What does this error mean and how can I get rid of it so I
can boot my OS up again? Thanks
.
