yes i agree an inexpensive nvidia card will do fine, i prefer ATI myself
because i think there 2d graphics is crisper than nvidia but if no 3d apps
are being used then go for nvidia as the lower end cards are cheaper.

Any of the inexpensive cards should work. I'd probably grab an nVidia
based FX5500 or even a 6200.
