thats all
Ah, OK cool. What about a RAM / hard drive upgrade? Is that in the
same $ ballpark?
I'm already running 1 gig memory and a 60Gb hdd (5400) so I dont really
need to upgrade was as i said just an opportunity to get a faster CPU
really cheap thats all
a 7200 rpm drive makes a bit of difference, as its a 30% increase in platter
speed. You can load data faster from the drive, and the seek times go down
too. It adds up to a better performance upgrade than a new CPU would ( since
the CPU is basically waiting longer for the slower drive to feed it data).
