I would suggest you reinstall XP without the 250GB attached.
Partition
the
60 into 40/20 and only format and install on the 40. Purchase Acronis

image. As soon as the install is 'perfect', use TrueImage to create a
backup onto the 20 and make it a bootable restore parition. Then
install
the 250GB.

Then, whenever your machine needs 'cleaned', you just press F11 at
boot
and
reinstall the master image. Data all intact on the 250.

Tom, does the image have to be on the same HD in a logical(or primary?)
container to work like that? Or will it also work with the image stored
on a seperate drive?

That's pretty neat though I never knew TrueImage to do that........I of
course use PQ Drive Image in other fashions but that sounds a lot like
the neat little setup the propriety giants use......Than again
something
happens to that one drive, *poof* goes your image backup.....But, still
a nice little function though.


No, it can be on another drive. I believe it can even be a USB drive,
but I
haven't tried it. Maybe even network :)
