Re: Inspiron 9300 - "Jerky" gameplay

Thanks for the input, all. To the person wondering which graphics card
I have - it's the 6800, so that baby should fly, and _certainly_ on
5-year old games.

One person asked about the power management settings; I've tried
changing these with no luck. I haven't tried turning off the wireless -
I'll give it a go, though of course, that won't help me when playing
World of Warcraft. :)

I'm very tempted to just do a complete reinstall. However, the machine
didn't come with a clean XP CD; you write your own backup CD via a
"backup" menu option. Does this backup consist of just an XP install,
or does it include all the bloatware that comes with a Dell? If the
latter, then re-installing wouldn't help I guess, unless I buy a new
copy of Windows XP.
