Pretty sure W2K doesn't include Server. Just XP Pro and MCE

Also, any MS OS (Win95++) can be used to control a PC with remote desktop.
It is the PC being controlled that needs to be running XP Pro, MCE or (I
think) W2k.
For OS below W2k you can download the control software free from MS.

I tried remote desktop on my 630m last night but wasn't expecting it
to work, because I thought I had XP Home on that laptop.
I was surprised and I could hook up to and control my desktop PC from
my 630m.
So, I thought that I must have misunderstood what XP Home could do,
until I checked the OS this morning and they installed XP Media Center
edition on my 630m.
That wasn't even an option when I purchased the 630m. I am pleasantly
surprised, but wonder how / why they did this.
Journey
I suspect because it is the cheapest choice from MS
.
