Monica, your temporary internet files folder is probably full. Open
Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options > "Delete Files" and
"Delete Cookies". If you've never emptied these folders before, it can
take SEVERAL (5-10) minutes.
Also, you can run Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup;
be sure to check "Temporary Internet Files" and "Recycle Bin"

Oh lordy! I don't know what happened or when but when I right click on
my
ISP's network connection and choose Properties and click on the
Advanced
tab, I get the following:
Windows can not display the properties of this connection. The
Windows
Management Instrument (WMI) information might be corrupted. To
correct
this, use System Restore to restore Windows to an earlier time.
The reason I was looking in there is because of an issue I've been
having
(and posted about here) with getting "server cannot be found" 90% of
the
time I try to connect to any website. This started about 3-4 weeks
ago. I
can click on retry and the website will load. Called Cox to address
this
problem. Tech was going to have me clear the DNS cache but we found
no
information on the Advanced tab. My restore points don't work as far
back
as I would need to go. So, he suggested I call Dell to see if they
could
fix the problem. I'd rather eat a bowl of bugs than call Dell's tech
UNsupport. Hoping someone here can tell me what to do.
Thanks!
Monica
