HELP!! DELL DIMENSION 4500 NO SOUND!!

I've got a dimension 4500 and no sound whatsoever. I've tried doing a
fresh xp install and still nothing. My soundcard drivers have been
installed and everything else I can think of. I'm getting question
marks in my device manager in the "other devices" category. Help!!
