Why don't you go into add/remove programs and see if you can get rid of
stuff?
Should work but not a generally good idea. One should wipe
the entire hard drive after acquiring an used system. There
is a lot of stuff that can be installed without having to
use the Add/Remove Programs applet. Moreover, one important
part of the purchase of a previously-owned system is to also
make sure that all of the installation cdroms and disks are
provided with the used machine.
