Rebuilding a Dell PC (Laptop)
Recently I rebuilt/reinstalled my Windows XP Operating system on my Dell
Inspiron 1100. During the installation, I was NOT asked for the CD key
either during or after the installation for authentication. I have also not
been reminded to authenticate this (new) installation.
I did notice that there is a FAT partition on the disk in addition to the C:
partition. What is this partition and did it have anything to do with what
I described above?
