Are you saying you put in a double thickness, 2 CDs stuck together, or had one somehow invisibly stuck to the top of the drive?

I know I am putting in a single CD. The way the thing is mounted recessed in the curved front it is hard to shine a light in and see if somehow a CD stuck to the top of the drive.
