Re: What Do You Think of This Set Up?
yes it is perfect.
you wont be sorry.

the extra ram is not needed for the purpose you mentioned of leaving it
on longer.
any computer over 256mb, (512 is recommended minimum) will work.
xp doesnt have the memory problems that you've encountered with winME
and 98.
i still would not buy the e310. sorry. not when the better box is on
sale for the same price.
Chris is on the right track.
do not get a crt monitor. what for when the flat panel is included in
the sale for free! you wouldnt even be able to sell that glass crt, it
has no value!!! when you see how great that flat panel is, you probably
wont want to use your 21 in crt. not to mention saving electricity,
and not giving off as much heat!
This is what I do: surf the net while listening to music while having
two or three different web pages up, plus a word processor/spell check
program running, plus Outlook Express running. Doing this on my current
computer will crash the thing sooner or later. I have to reboot the thing
two to five times a day. I want to make sure I have enough ram in my new
computer that allows me to do all that without crashing. Is 512mb of ram
enough?
