OT--sniffer s-ware



I thought some of you might know the answer, although this is a tad
peripheral to this group.

Please see this exchange on a different newsgroup below (read from the
bottom up), and maybe someone can tell me about this s-ware.

I've never used a pw cracker and I wouldn't want it to screw things up.

How secure is it??

My concern is that I have various passwords at various sites and I'd be
concerned that this was also some sort of malware that could convey that
information to unsrupulous sources.
