Dell powervault questions

I've been looking at 2 of the Powervault DLT systems, the 110T SDLT and
the PV110T LTO-2L

What I find strange is the PV110T seems to have a greater capaicty
(200/400 compared to 160/320), but for less $$$, can someone explain to
me why ?

Also, any comments on these drives? Are they reliable? What type of
system would be needed to get a decent throughput ?
