if you are being challenged for a password upon entering the bios then you
can clear it via the 'pswd' jumper found on the motherboard. if you are not
able to get to the password prompt then perhaps you are not using the right
key to enter the bios... when the "press <f2> key to enter setup" message
appears upon power on then press f2 to enter the bios/setup. also, you may
want to replace the battery on the motherboard given its age.
