i can not follow that... but it sounds as if you are not using the router
in the correct place. the result of which means that each cable modem is
only capable of having one computer conencted to it since it is designed to
bind to only one mac address.

what is the reason for the cisco switch? what model is it? what is the
motivation for configuring ports on that switch for a vlan? is this a
business network and you are trying to provide some sort of redundancy by
having two cable modems? with the use of a router a single internet
connection (a cable modem, a dsl modem, whatever) can be in turn shared with
many computers.

do an inventory of your hardware and number the devices... then map the
connections...
1 cable modem
2 cisco switch
3 wap
and so on...
then 1 -> 2 -> 3
