FIVE YEARS!!!

Haven't been around much...just living life. Still smoke-free after 5 years. Truth be told, I don't even think about smoking much anymore. While I'll always remain vigilant, I now consider myself a non-smoker. I don't have any desire to smoke, or, be around it. My life has changed quite a bit in 5 years. The one big thing that has come out of my quit is my conversion to becoming a runner! I enjoy a much greater level of fitness now as a direct result of quitting smoking and becoming a runner.

These 5 years have come and gone so quickly...I really can't even believe that it has been that long. It seems like yesterday. As I sit here and type and admire my meter...I look at the stats... 36,000+ cigarettes not smoked. How amazing and incredible is that?!?! I am so grateful that I didn't remain a slave to the nicotine.

I hope everyone remains strong and healthy in their quits. Believe me...it is completely worth it.

I miss coming here to chat...as I did so often in the beginning. The help I received here was so comforting...and it carried me along through those rough moments and days where the cravings were tough.

I am now living smoke-free and cannot in anyway ever express my gratitude enough to everyone who helped that happen for me along the way!
