Do I feel better? No not really apart from being pleased with myself.
Do I feel like celebrating with a smoke? No not really
Yes I still have the urge but it's not so strong and doesn't last long
and I know the cigarettes are waiting to get me again if I am silly
enough to risk even one. I understand that one will hurt and that I am
an ex smoker but will never be a non smoker.
Yes, by all means keep your guard up but do not let that thought scare
you, you will absolutely not spend the rest of your life wrestling the
desire of smoke.
As you already see, it gets better with time. Just remember your first
day. There, now you can clearly see what a great leap forward you
made. Time is on your side!
