I'm currently awaiting the release of Sarum by Rutherfurd for Kindle.
That will be in a few days and I will very shortly after than get lost
in the story.... (-:

I have that one in hardcover.:)

I wonder how I'd feel about my e-reader if I had the space AND finances to keep a hardcover library. The vast majority of books I've read over the years have been paperbacks. My most favorite books are the big, fat historical novels of Michener, Rutherfurd, Steinbeck.... Up until the last book I was a huge fan of the Children of the Earth series... Those books in paperback can be very unwieldy.....

Many years ago I was telling an elderly neighbor about Michener's The Source, a book (paperback) I'd just finished. She asked to borrow it and I reluctantly gave it to her. (I'm very protective of my books, don't dog-ear pages, rarely break the spine, etc....) She was a regular at the pool and several days later I found her there reading my book. She was about a third of the way through and had it bent back on itself. It took everything within me to not snatch the book out of her hands while screaming, "NO!" I still cringe when thinking about it.

Books are wonderful!! (-:
