I don't FB, as a rule. It's so full of... stuff that's completely useless, to me, that I'm intimidated by it. I understand a lot of AS3 people have made the transition to it and are pretty much abandoning USENET in droves. What can you say...?

I did just speak with Cat, who confirms that Edna's not expected to awaken or to recover. This came right out of left field. No warning, no preamble. Just POW! Down for the count. Bruce is lost, and info is a bit sketchy. No idea if it was a stroke, and then she collapsed, or if it was merely a bad fall. The brain's a fragile thing. Pressure, angle, force, and so on can combine in some really lousy ways to do a lot of harm where it looks like little or none should have happened.

I'd just spoken to Edna a while ago; she called out of the blue and we gassed for an hour and a half, about nothing in particular. We cracked each other up. She told me she loved me. I can't believe that was the last conversation we'll have...
