My existing camera has both manual and auto which I will probably want
to have on this too.

Well Flat Iron Mike got me thinking about cameras. I've got a case
full of cameras and lens I don't seem to use anymore. I've been told
some of the new cameras have lens with enough focal range that you
don't need multiple lens anymore. I like the idea of instant
gratification if you haven't noticed. So I'm curious what people
have, and which features they don't have which if they had it to do
over they would have. Since I'm old school where you to play with the
film setting as well as camera settings do you still do that with the
digital cameras?

I don't know to much about cameras. I am not very technical talented
so I just have a digital camera with almost no settings and it makes
great pictures. So I would think digital cameras have far less
settings than the old cameras.
