Don't use that excuse to continue to smoke. We all tell ourself that.
Obviously, that would be an excuse to delve into just about anything
imaginable.
The truth is that we all try to learn from our mistakes. We try and get a
little better all the time. It's hard to look at our imperfections and think
that there's anybody who's got to deal with our same problems. That's wrong.
Smoking is a complicated addiction. It stares you in the face with every
cigarette.
You have got what it takes to be free, and with a little work and
determination you can get this off your list!
It will make your next challenges seem easier.

Don't ever forget why you quit.

It really is, Keven. I was thinking just today as I drove down the
highway that I would buy a pack and start again. For a lot of reasons.
Then, dammit, I thought about having to tell all of the group and
resetting my meter and I decided not to. But that thought, not a crave
at all, just a decision to take the drug again, was right there ready
to go as soon as I was.

I think it will always be lurking some where in my brain. Waiting.
