being smober I have met some of the most wonderful people here both
online as well as in person. But most of all, because of bein smober
I have learned more of who I am and that I am worth taking care of.
I could never have kept my smobriety this long nor as focused if it
were not for the community we share here. While we do quibble at
times and sometimes get all full of ourselves as we post, we do take
care to keep the focus where it needs to be: getting and staying
smober. To you newbies, keep on keeping on. It really does get
better. To those of you who were here giving me the support I needed
back then, I thank you.
And to the Gnomes... Well, you just have to hear them sing!
Three years, 4 hours, 3 minutes and 30 seconds. 21923 cigarettes not
smoked, saving $6,577.01. Life saved: 10 weeks, 6 days, 2 hours, 55
minutes.

Congratulations, my dear old friend. What a wonderful post for me to
greet first thing this morning! I am so proud of you. And not just
for this personal landmark, but for the way you are so faithful to AS3
and do so much to keep us all on the straight and narrow. I wish we
could all get together in person at a huge "Hooray For Mike" party but
I am sure that everyone here feels the same way.
