Ian, you set yourself up to failure from the beginning as you kept
giving sickerettes attributes that are simply bogus. You CAN quit but
you have to see smoking as the failure that it is. You need to write
down all the reasons why you want to get smober and you need to work
on a plan to make smobriety a success. If you need to use more than
one NRT to get smober, do it. That is a much better option than only
one that does not succeed in keeping you focused on the success of
smobriety. Considering how much you say you smoke, you might want to
consider Chantix as it really is the best NRT out there. While there
certainly are side effects that can be troublesome, if you can work
through them you will find that it really does make smoking so
disgusting you WANT to be smober - in your bones.
Do no run off but lurk here, at least, while you decide how to work
further to get smober. You CAN do it!
