Hello everybody,

It has been a while, has it not? I am not going to bother you with
everything, but I have had some issues that I needed to deal with.
Some health issues, some family issues, and some are just personal.

For some reason, I forgot what AS3 has meant to me. I forgot what a
significant influence every single one here had on me and my quit.
And in a selfish way I stopped reciprocating. That was wrong. I have
plenty of experience in helping new quitters. Encourage new comers,
and really, as DavidL said: "Tell him David says he has no excuse for
not being here expressing gratitude and supporting the newcomer". He
said that on July 26th. (Yes, I had a LOT to read). And David, you are
absolutely right. I am here to express my gratitude to all of you,
and offer my support to all new comers.

Another problem, which is just an excuse, AT&T dropped Newsnet, and I
think I finally figured out how to use Google Groups.

For those of you who wondered where I was, and asked about me and sent
me emails, I am forever in debt to you. Every single word you said to
me lifted my spirit, and shone a new light in the dark tunnel that I
am walking. But now I know that I do not have to walk alone. I know
you guys will always hold my hand when needed. A very special thank
you, to a very special friend...DavidL

As for the quit, it's one of the few things I can really brag about.
Check this out:

I have been quit for 2 Years, 2 Months, 2 Weeks, 20 hours and 36
minutes (806 days). 40,342 cigarettes not smoked.

I am here to stay. You never know how much you miss something till
you lose it. And I almost lost you, and got lost.
