I just never ever expected it to go this far.

My dad, who was about 85 at the time, went through this stuff and had 5 stents put in. The catheterization took about 45 minutes and he watched the whole thing. They had him sign some additional permissions before they put the stents in, but they were in & done in no time.

They kept him in the hospital overnight for observation and booted him the next day for being fine.

They put him on Lipitor or something...

He was perfectly fine. Typically, we was more tired and emotional than usual for a while.

He's 88 now and he's going to get a knee replaced on 12/8.


Good to get fixed up while you can still run and play.
