You girls are so sweet... As for the apple pie, it was on top of some empty boxes with no yucky stuff underneath, and as much as I hated to do it - I saved it, heated it to a nice hot point and ate another piece tonight.

DH, for his part, admitted and apologized that he has been awful towards me lately, and assured me that he still wants to keep me around, and that he doesn't know why he is so stressed all the time. We also made some financial goals with a built in reward - we want to pay off two debts by Valentines and he will buy me an Xbox - because my fave Nintendo (64, the only unit I ever bought) game "Banjo Kazooie" is finally coming out on another system!! Yippee!!

I feel much better and stable now... I just find it incredibly strange that *he* quit and *I* am the one having drinking/smoking/using thoughts!

Stephanie said. You, Kathleen, have such a gentle philosophy and seem
to have everything "together". You have made such huge changes in
your life over the years to get you to exactly where you are, just the
right place for you. Piffle to your DH. I wish he'd sent that apple
pie on to me.
