the BP is up right now because I have been eating potato chips, the salt
kills me and I am not normally a chip person or anything really salty but
since we only had 3 kids for Halloween we were left with a big box plus
juice and candy

Oh,  that nmbness and loss of feeling isn't what I got - it was an
agonizing cramp, almost always in the hands, so bad the muscles spasmed
and locked up and I found it impossible to,  for example, type till it
wwent off.
Yours sounds more like  a circulation thing,  but mention it to your
doctor when you're next in.

I spent  an hour and a half waiting to see my GP,  a follow-up from the
hospital visit.
My chest sounds in fine shape, he said, and having seen the chest x-ray
he confirmed the hospital medic's good opinion.  So I really did myself
a big favor when I threw away my packet of cigarettes.  Just wish I' d
done it earlier!
I'm to see a cardiologist next Tuesday, and having seen  an  ENT
specialist recently, I am to see a gastronomic and have some kind of
tests done at a hospital, to see if this rough throat is caused by
something called reflux. Far as I can make out, some acid or something
comes up from the stomach and affects the throat around the voice box.
I thought it was an infection,  but no doubt the doctors will find out
among them.
I'm hoping this stomach thing is also causing these ominous feelings in
my heart area too.
I had a flu shot this morning too, I had turned down the doctor's offer
of one last week but got to thinking, I am going in waiting rooms and a
hospital visit  or two  is not ruled out,  so I am being exposed to more
people coughing and sneezing and throwing out flu germs.

Alcohol is a potent diuretic. The dehydration which accompanies
excessive alcohol consumption causes cramping and GI distress, amongst
a multitude of other assaults on the system. It potentiates or
interferes with the other medications you speak of taking.

Alcohol in the quantities you drink contributes to significant
morbidity and mortality.

Your doctors could help you stop drinking.
