OT - brief update

First, thanks to Chris and Montana for the chat.
I need to hit the road in a few minutes but wanted to post a little
something.
Yesterday was more good than bad. Actually, no bad but no *great*
strides. Bob is still on the paralytic drug, still sedated, still on
the ventilator. However, his kidney are functioning "better" - we
didn't get a percentage so I don't know how much better. His
circulation is good and blood oxygen is improved (per the respiratory
therapist who said it was a small victory but we should take every
victory we can get). Although we didn't talk to the neurologist, the
nurse said we probably wouldn't because the EEG came back NORMAL!!!
I'm thinking that my guess about Bob not breathing for 5 minutes must
have been an exaggeration. It seemed like an hour. So, I'm leaving
in a minute. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers and hugs and
support!!! Again, I'm sorry I don't have the time or energy to answer
each one of you.
BTW - I had no thoughts of smoking yesterday.
Bless you all.
Sue - hoping for another good day
Two years, seven months, one day, 8 hours, 54 minutes and 52 seconds.
