I have to confess I haven't yet seen the film.
I intend to, probably later this week.
I don't know anything at all about his motivation, much less the overall
structure of the story.
My guess would be... um ... because he's an oily sonofabitch...?

I think I'd probably pay good money to watch Daniel Day Lewis... I dunno...
ride a bicycle, or something. I mean, he's just so damn compelling in
everything he does.
