It is Surreal

Well, Boys & Girls, I took my last cigarette puff at exactly midnight, one
full year ago.

It has been a very taxing year. I lost my father, then I lost my best
companion, Rolex. I had a roller coaster ride as far as work is concerned.
I almost ended my life driving on I-20 to Dallas when my engine almost blew
up. My depression has increased a lot. I broke up with my girlfriend, not
too long ago. Damn, this is depressing.

It was not all bad, though. Alex, my first born graduated from college in
May, and he is a Construction Engineer, starting his second life working for
an Engineering Firm in Chicago. I am feeling better, kinda, about myself.
My Chicago Cubs own the best record in the Majors.

Now we come the best part. Chantix gave the head start for my quit, but
this NG, the AS3, all of you people held my hand through out the year when
it was very dark. You cared. You still do, although you don't know me from
Adam. I came here often. I whined, I wanted to smoke, I cried, I poured my
heart out, and wrote a lot about other than quit things. You listened. You
supported me. You yelled at me. You threatened me. You did everything
possible to keep my quit intact.

Here we are...A year later. I am still smoke free. Thank you all for
everything.

Now, please help me win the LOTTO...

I have been quit for 1 Year and 1 minute (366 days). But I don't know what
happened to the $3,202.50 I saved by not smoking 18,300 cigarettes. I have
recovered 2 Months, 2 Days and 13 hours of my life.
