Here you are. You're the star! They've decided you have to smoke a cigarette

you've blown that smoke and tasted that flavor you know you have a problem..
What are you going to say to AS3? Do you reset your meter? Can't you just
smoke another few packs and call it showbiz?
Would you even take the part if they insisted that you smoke? (You can do
it, you've smoked before, you probably won't even cough when you inhale!)
We are ambushed continually with Hollywood terrorists strapping cigarette
smoking stars to our silver screen.
Don't fantasize.

Don't ever forget why you quit.
I was really worried about this during my quit 1998-9/11/2001. I had
quit the first day of rehearsal for The Mystery of Edwin Drood (I was
Drood with 7 songs and couldn't smoke and sing as well). At the time
I was doing a LOT of theater in NJ, and it was still in vogue for
characters to sometimes smoke on stage. I myself had smoked on stage
in Don't Dress for Dinner (1995) and was concerned I'd be called upon
to do it again. Of course I blew my quit before that risky situation
presented itself to me. I'm betting now they don't even allow smoking
on stage (oh! How to do Noel Coward?). At least I hope so as I hope
to do some more theater when I move to LA this summer.
