Sue - Is your Sadie Hawkins Day the same as my Sadie Hopkins Day?

I don't know and actually I was wrong. Sadie Hawkins Day is in
November and was started by Al Capp.

It has been suggested that it should be changed to Feb 29th. I don't
know what Sadie Hopkins Day is. No time right at the minute to look
it up.
Sue who now has to explain to Mike that I screwed up

I thought it was a myth, but I guess it is not. Last week, someone (Of the
Female Species) told me that on Leap Year's 29th day of February, what
happens is that women propose to men to marry them. I almost fell on my ass
laughing.
The phone rings this morning, and I get a.....marriage proposal as soon as I
open my eyes, also from the female species. At the beginning I declined
very politely and pointedly. The conversation ended in a shouting match on
one of us hanging up on the other. Guess who did it? Yep, the other specie
Good grief!

So, what else is supposed to happen today? Do you have Myths, or stories to
tell. Please share
