Re: Today is day 4, empty??

HI Ccy and welcome to AS3,
Check out www.quitbuddies.org and look up the FAQ's that will get you
started.
I say anything you are feeling is normal esp feeling empty you are saying
goodbye to something you knew for a long time. and you feel the need to fill
that place, what you replace that with is up to you. exercise, food, gum, a
hobby.
pick up a meter at www.silkquit.org to track your non smoking time and
amount not spent on smoking.

Hello everyone,

This is the first time ever being in a support group and well as the
first time quitting. I've smoked for about 10 years and decided it
was time to stop detrimenting my body.

I'm not sure what most of the symptoms are, but I'm going cold turkey.
Is it normal to feel somewhat sad, a little empty inside?? It just
feels the day isn't as bright or as exciting without the smoke.

Thanks for listening!
