Over the past week or so here in the UK it has turned cold every thing
is well on the turn to autumn. I cracked up the wood burner the other
night got the smells of winter from the burning wood. Playing golf the
other day and the air just smelled like winter I can't describe the
smell it's just not summer, the whole feel of the place was just
different. In a nice way don't get me wrong wouldn't be right (for me at
any rate) to have the summer weather too long.
I have always been a up and down sort of a guy. As I get older it seems
as the winter weather draws in I go into hibernation like a big bear it
really seems to effect my mood and energy levels. The climate over here
is very temperate.
I was just wondering how the rest of you got on with the change of
seasons, I know that quite a few of the USA and Canadian AS3ers live in
places where the seasons change dramatically.
Also some like Sue and Keven (I think live in California) where I
believe it's always sunny. Same with Les he's from Texas.
Anyway My question is
How does the weather or change of seasons effect your mood and energy
levels ?
I would be interested to hear your slight on it Sue as you lived in
Alaska and now California ?
The thing is I was reading about light therapy and was considering
giving it a go.

I don't smoke anymore

The first hint of fall depresses me.
I hate winter.
I love the NFL and NBA or I would have no use for fall and winter at
all.
You can take the change of seasons and the holidays (especially the
three month long marketing thing they replaced christmas with) and
pitch them in the wastebasket.
I want it spring and summer all the time.
I wanna be outdoors with the rest of the world.
Working in the yard, chatting with the neighbors etc. etc.
But oh well.
I will survive another one.
And this year, I won't have to put a coat on and go outside to smoke
all the time.
