You mean, when you click the "reply" link, all the text is still there
and you can hide/move it by clicking show quoted text / hide quoted
text? It is called quoting and if you want to remove it just delete
all text while editing your own post. Leaving a small part of the
original post in there though is considered desirable because people
know what thought or which person you are replying to.

Oh another BTW, it would be neat if you put some name in your posts,
not just the email addy. Does not have to be your real name of course,
just something you feel comfortable with :-)
