OT -- Old Dog New Tricks

Starting guitar lessons Monday.
Never took a music lesson in my entire 44 years of breathing. So it should be interesting.
Hoping to be a late blooming musical genius but being able to play a few Johnny Cash songs or some basic Latin or Spanish guitar style songs will suffice ... I have high hopes but I know that this is going to take a lot of effort and practice early on and I will have to 'cultivate' some patience with my progress.
Sounds a lot like quitting smoking doesn't it?? Amazing the lessons we learn here and can apply to other things we'd like to do, learn, see and experience before we cease breathing.
So that's it!!!
